With nearly two decades of experience as a development professional, Colleen McCarthy has a deep knowledge of and wide network within the philanthropic, corporate, non-profit, and government sectors in the U.S. Colleen has also grown a steady base of clients and connections in Puerto Rico and Latin America, working for high-profile individuals and organizations such as The New America Alliance (NAA) and Museo de Arte de Ponce, and with multiple Governors of Puerto Rico from the Pro-Commonwealth and Pro-Statehood parties.

Colleen has worked with high-net-worth individuals, global corporations, non-profit organizations, foundations, and political campaigns, including: Jaime Harrison’s 2020 U.S. Senate campaign which broke fundraising records, American Federation of Teachers, Democratic Association of Secretaries of State, Senator Mark Udall, the Clinton Foundation, the New York State Democratic Party, the National Conference of Democratic Mayors, the Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association, and the Democratic Leadership Council.

Colleen previously served as the Finance Director of the Democratic Governors Association (DGA), where she raised over $50 million and developed close ties with Governors and Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Before joining the DGA, Colleen served as the National Finance Director and Senior Advisor for New Mexico’s Governor Bill Richardson’s presidential campaign, overseeing an operation that raised over $24 million in 2007.
